Hey everyone! I hope the text up there was big enough to catch your attention because I have some news about the fate of the Glass Series that you are going want to hear about…
As you all know, Imdalind is being looked at by publishers and Soul of Flame is being pushed back – but that’s not all of the crazy news that I have up my sleeve – you see I am writing a series specifically for Traditional Publishing – and have been given a deadline for completion of the first book in that series. Which means… poor Through Glass is kind of floating around in no mans land.
Now, if you know anything about me, I am a pleaser – I hate leaving people hanging and I hate making promises I can’t keep. So I am making a few changes to Through Glass so that you guys aren’t kept waiting as long.
I am turning it into a novella series.
I have been thinking this through for quite a while, and first got the idea about a month ago when it became clear that I wouldn’t have a lot of time to devote to this series anymore.
But I still love the story – and I still want to tell it – So I am going to tell it in short little novellas.
The first (previously released) book is being cut into three episodes and re-released. The next episode (number 4) will come out in January as planned. I am hoping to release one a month until the series is done. With Volumes of the combined series release between them. Now, before we get the few people popping up and saying that I am only doing this to make money – well I have two things to say to you: Number One: Of course I want to make money – but I prefer the word income. I work very hard on my stories, and I love them dearly. And as the sole provider for my family that income is vital. Second: I am going to carefully manipulate the price of each novella and volume that no matter which path you choose to take you won’t pay more for the books than if I had released them the way I previously planned.
Cuz I am cool like that. 🙂
