Yep, I still suck at keeping a blog. I should probably just come out and say it, its not going to make me get any better, but at least then everyone will be aware.

I guess between writing and editing and social networking, and baking birthday cakes, and running, and playing, and walking the St. Bernard, the blog gets punched back to the very very back of the list of things that I forget about.

But I remembered today! That and I had writers block – that helped too. I would go running, but I am at my sisters house, and I am wearing jeans so running is not an option.

So, I decided that in honor of my writers block, and the fact that Mortal Instruments comes out in theaters soon I should give you the biggest confession that a writer will ever make.

I have never read any of The Mortal Instruments series.

None.

Not the prequels, not the first book, not even a paragraph.

I am not even sure I am aware of the plot.

Okay, that may be a little extreme. But, I will tell you what I do know. And, I am sure I am going to be wrong in some places so feel free to set me straight.

There is a girl, I think her name is Clara or Clary or Clarice or something, who has some demon mark on her hand. And she see’s a boy who no one else can see and he takes her into an underworld where they battle monsters.

Is that right?

Because that’s what I got out of the movie trailer.

*Blush*

I told you it was a bad confession. But before you start freaking out that I haven’t read them: I have read so many other books it’s ridiculous. I just haven’t read these, don’t know why – I just haven’t.

Which is why it was so funny when everyone started comparing Kiss of Fire to them. Because I really have no idea what they are about.

Want another confession?

I don’t eat shellfish because they are mucus before they are cooked.

EW!
