You know the days when you feel like your head is going to explode? Yep… I am having one of those months… and boy is it a doozy. Not only am I working like crazy to get Eyes of Ember ready for its release date (April 6th) I am also doing the first draft writing of two, yes two, books. The next two books in the series (Burnt Devotion and Scorched Treachery) are being written simultaneously to help avoid plot holes. If I had to guess I would say Burnt Devotion is about 80% done and Scorched Treachery is at about 40%
If everything goes perfectly I should be done with the rough drafts by the end of March, which means that I should be able to publish Scorched Treachery by the end of July and Burnt Devotion a month Later – yep a month…
That should be like freaking awesome right?
The nice thing about writing them simultaneously is that they are both able to come out really close to each other, and by the time Burnt is out I should be freakishly close to the next one.
Oh… and I started something completely new. I was going to do a story about a girl in a train wreck, but decided to switch it up for the story of a girl who is obsessed with graveyards in honor of my super sweet foster daughter who just got to go home (yay!) And trust me, this story is freaking awesome.
Now, if you will excuse me – I’m going back to my cave…
