My youngest turned three yesterday.
Yep, she’s old.
We had a great party with mass amounts of Costco cake and cousins and presents. There was only one thing missing – the perfect present.
The only thing my cute little daughter wanted. She didn’t care if it was an action figure, stickers, a stuffed animal, a shirt. It just had to have one specific person on it:
Loki.
You know from the avengers… My three year old little girl is obsessed with Loki. You ask her who her favorite avenger is:
Loki
You ask her who she’s going to grow up and marry:
Loki
We’ve told her he’s the bad guy, she doesn’t care. She only wants one thing, Loki.
Which brings us to our problem. Loki dolls, action figures, shirts are extremely hard to find. Like impossibly hard. We have found one Loki dolls in our months of searching in a 50.00 gift set that included all of the avengers. But she doesn’t want ALL of the avengers, she only wants Loki. Know you are probably wondering how I know that, let me explain.
Just last week we were at the store and found a Rainbow Brite shirt – I love Rainbow Brite (I collect the vintage dolls) so I got a shirt and my 6 year old got a shirt. Which means that everyone wanted a shirt. We spent 20 minutes looking for a shirt my 3 year old would want.
We found avenger shirts… but none of them had Loki… the poor girl was in tears and we could only calm her down with Hello Kitty Pajamas.
Poor little girl. I don’t know what I am going to do. I HAVE found Loki stuff on amazon but $25.00 for a $10.00 doll for a three year old seems a bit much..
So if anyone finds an affordable Loki doll let me know, and if anyone runs into Tom Hiddleston, let him know he needs more action figures…

It all started with a birthday present: a little book I wrote for my grandfather, helped along by a little bit of performing experience and a whole lot of love. It has since evolved. Get to know the woman behind the words.
